Our shortest Redster ski for young flyers – Atomic Redster J9 FIS J- RP² is perfect for developing race technique.
Designed specifically for aspiring junior racers, the Atomic Colt 7 C is a new lightweight junior binding that delivers ultimate power transfer from boot to binding. Thanks to the new Race Pedal, the boot sole sits directly on the AFD plate for more direct energy transmission to the ski. The result is improved control, better handling, and more powerful skiing. The Automatic Toe Height Adjustment adapts automatically to any Alpine C normed ski boot sole height to ensure consistent release values, even with well-worn ski boots.
A sporty, dynamic Ash and Poplar woodcore that adds a ton of stability and dampens vibrations at speed.
A Titanal layer above and below the core creates supreme shock absorption, strong running stability and a high torsinoal flex.
For all young flyers, the Atomic Redster J9 FIS J- RP² is the ideal ski to develop race technique. It’s our shortest Redster FIS ski, designed to take their racing to the next level. It features our junior race geometry that guarantees quick and easy turn initiation, and offers precise control, specifically for juniors. Halfway between a slalom and giant slalom ski, there’s no better choice for youngsters who’ve caught the racing bug.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A blunt edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and slides through a turn. An edge that is too sharp digs into the snow surface and makes for an unstable ride. Our alpine skis are groomed with a side edge angle of 87° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from our factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise 0.8° base edge bevel that microscopically lifts the ski edge off the snow for easy turning while providing excellent edge grip and aggressive tracking throughout the turn.
