Atomic Redster S9 FIS is a slalom ski for serious young racers.
Full Sidewall runs across the full length of the ski for precise steering.
Made from strong beech and lightweight poplar – for supreme running stability and agility in our racing skis.
The Atomic Redster S9 FIS is a thoroughbred slalom ski for juniors and female racers. Full Sidewall construction and a high-grade Woodcore give this ski its high-performance flex and transfer energy to the edge for grip you can trust when it matters most. The ski's waist and length initiate firm edge grip and maximize agility for ultra-fast edge-to-edge transition through the gates. The ultimate ski for female FIS, junior FIS, and Masters Slalom racers.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A blunt edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and slides through a turn. An edge that is too sharp digs into the snow surface and makes for an unstable ride. Our alpine skis are groomed with a side edge angle of 87° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from our factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise 0.5° base edge bevel that microscopically lifts the ski edge off the snow for easy turning while providing excellent edge grip and aggressive tracking throughout the turn.
