The Atomic Redster G9 FIS Revoshock W is a top female-specific GS ski for racers chasing FIS GS points on the World Cup or Continental Cup. The Redster G9 FIS Revoshock W includes Atomic’s World Cup-proven Revoshock technology, a series of spring steel plates encased in an integrated elastomer compound that creates a stable ride you can trust. But here’s the thing: Revoshock also allows the ski to be insanely agile, so you can accelerate out of the turns like the afterburners are on. Full-length sidewalls produce super-firm edge hold, while the Ultra TI Powered laminate and Ultra Power Woodcore create ultimate torsional rigidity. The Active Race Interface binding integration platform puts you in control, so you can keep your line tight, your speed high, and all your numbers in the green.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A blunt edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and slides through a turn. An edge that is too sharp digs into the snow surface and makes for an unstable ride. Our alpine skis are groomed with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from our factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise 0.8° base edge bevel that microscopically lifts the ski edge off the snow for easy turning while providing excellent edge grip and aggressive tracking throughout the turn.
