Designed by Chris Benchetler and skied by the Atomic Freeski team, the Atomic Bent 85 dominates Hollywood lines under the chair and sends in the park.
For more durability all along the rails.
Made from Poplar wood, this core optimizes the ski's weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability.
A foam core that´s agile and dampens vibrations - for effortless skiing.
Almost no rocker in the tail, so more of the ski's edge remains in contact with the snow giving better grip and stability.
Sidewall from base to top sheet, for controlled power transmission and great edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dura Cap is a fantastic durability feature as it picks up fewer dents and dings.
The Atomic Bent 85 is a versatile all-mountain, park-slaying ski designed by Chris Benchetler and the Atomic Freeski team to perform anywhere you want to take it. Whether you’re boosting airs in the pipe or busting through afternoon chop, the 85mm waist and All Mountain Rocker keeps everything under control. A compound wood core and Dura Cap Sidewall construction provide a damp, agile ride with snappy edge-to-edge performance. With topsheet and base art by Chris Benchetler, the Bent 85 will inspire you to ski the mountain as only you can.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A blunt edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and slides through a turn. An edge that is too sharp digs into the snow surface and makes for an unstable ride. Our alpine skis are groomed with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from our factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise 1.3° base edge bevel that lightly lifts the ski edge off the snow for easy turning while maintaining edge grip and tracking throughout the turn.
