The Atomic Bent 90 ski is at home ripping the whole mountain, or upside-down in the middle of a sw cork 10 in the park.
For more durability all along the rails.
Made from Poplar wood, this core optimizes the ski's weight without sacrificing any shock absorption or stability.
10% more surface area in tip and tail for awesome floatation without adding any swing weight.
Almost no rocker in the tail, so more of the ski's edge remains in contact with the snow giving better grip and stability.
Sidewall from base to top sheet, for controlled power transmission and great edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dura Cap is a fantastic durability feature as it picks up fewer dents and dings.
The Atomic Bent 90 is the ski Nico and Miguel Porteous refer to as “the Swiss Army knife” - the perfect all-mountain/park ski. HRZN Tech Tip & Tail give the Bent 90 the ability to float through pow laps in the morning and send the park in the afternoon. A Light Woodcore keeps the weight down and the performance responsive. Extra-durable Resist Edges provide lasting durability for endless rail slides. While the Bent 90 is a narrower ski than the bigger Bent Chetler 120, it still maintains the same attitude of creativity, self-expression, and versatility that make the entire range so effective. With topsheet and base art by Chris Benchetler, the Bent 90 channels a unique approach to the mountain both in design and aesthetics.
Precisely tuned edges are an important part of ski performance. A blunt edge cannot penetrate the snow surface and slides through a turn. An edge that is too sharp digs into the snow surface and makes for an unstable ride. Our alpine skis are groomed with a side edge angle of 87.0° for more intuitive handling, easier skiing and better grip on hard snow and ice.
All skis from our factory are delivered with steel edges that have been carefully machined with a precise 1.3° base edge bevel that lightly lifts the ski edge off the snow for easy turning while maintaining edge grip and tracking throughout the turn.
